After 33 years of weekly summer use, a pulley came loose from the spindle and the track broke. I reattached the pulley using miracle bond, and temporarily repaired the track using cyanoacrylate glue and NaHCO3 powder mixture to polymerize it. Replacement part is not available from Maytronics, who told me that it is the oldest working Dolphin in existence. Do you know a better way to repair a track?
I rinse the bag after each use, and store it in an unheated shed, even during the freezing winter. I have never cleaned the impeller.
P.S. Maytronics has offered to replace it under warranty.
