Aqua bot junior will not come up and clean shallow end of pool

i own an Aqua bot jr. i have owned it for 2 years and it is great. However it will not come up to the shallow end of my pool it cleans the deep end great. i dont know if it matters but my pool is about 35000 gallons > do you have any idea what would cause this or know anything i can try
