Aquabot Cord Plug Replacement With Computer Cable

The cord plug on my Aquabot power supply broke with years of use. I about panicked and realized the plug is exactly like the plug on computers. I had an old inkjet printer that had a detachable chord and in about 15 minutes, I had a replacement plug. I am about to replace the foam covered cord since I have spliced it 5 or 6 times and it had become. Thanks for the guidance.
