Aquabot T-4 Blows Fuse's

I have a aquabot turbo t4 that keeps blowing fuse's.I have turned on my transformer without the robot being hooked up and the fuse will not blow.I was told by a dealer that it will cost me about 400.00 There has to be a better way.Please help
