Aquabot Turbo Motor intermittent, Working Pump

I have an aquabot turbo like three years old used it for 3 months it stopped working due to family problems forgot about till now took it out of the box and here is what I have pump works fine no drive all tracks free no blockage took apart with rollors unhooked drive pulley will turn then stop under power then repeat like two turns then stop have not put back together yet any ideas drive motor ???? Thanks Frank
ADMIN REPLY: Either the stepper motor or the electronic board but yes, quickest fix would be a new motor.
