Brand new out of box today, Triton Fails

Brand new today - followed directions and placed in pool to clean. Ran for about 20 mins then shut down. Tried to restart, ran for 10 seconds and shut off. Cleaned filters and checked for freedom of movement and could see nor hear any obstructions. Any ideas??

Do not buy a used Maytronics/Dolphin off of Ebay. You will quickly find out that it is broken. It will work for a few minutes to 45 minutes and then quit. If you unplug the power supply for 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes, it will probably run about the same as the first time you ran it. These units measure motor currents during operation and as a result a old or heavily used one will tend to operate for a shorterand shorter time until it just moves forward a little and then backwards a little and then stops for good.
