I replaced my pump motor. When reinstalling the j-box cover plate (located on the bottom of the traction motor) the boss that accepts the screw that secures the cover plate broke off at the base. As I understand it, the traction motor is oil filled so I probably ought not to make a larger plate and drill new holes. Is thered a work-around for this dilemma?.. short of replacing the traction moror, which was replaced two years ago??
ADMIN REPLY: Good question. You can epoxy the plastic in place or use silicone caulk to hold the plate.
