Circuit board is shot DX 5 plus

Pump motor and forward drive lasts for 5 seconds then nothing. Both drives and the pump motor works. But just for 5 seconds. BTW, the power cord on the bottom of the motor housing is stuck on the terminals. Any tips on how to get it off?
