Dolphin Cleaner not working at all

I just moved into a new house with an inground pool and a Dolphin. I made sure it was clean and ready to go. It looks new but when I plug it in the power light on the control box lights up but the Dolphin doesn't do anything.

There are two motors in the Dolphin--one moves the treads and therefore moves the unit on the pool floor. The other spins the impeller which pulls water through the unit. If neither is running, check that you are getting power out of the control unit (use a multimeter on DC and look for 30* volts. If power is going to the unit, then something is wrong in the grey box containing the motors and circuit board. If you want to have it repaired, you have look for a repair outlet. It will probably cost hundreds of $. Alternative is to get a new unit or another brand.

Use a multimeter to determine that the transformer is supplying power to the cable. If yes, then check power at the other end of the cable.

Check for debris stuck in the tracks behind the sideplate.

If these checks don't find the problem then the motor needs replacing.
