I have the same problem. They fixed a burned out motor because of the same bad behavior climbing the walls even when it's programmed for the bottom. Got it back from repairs and it still does the same thing. I had to reset it 10 times to vacuum the pool. Maytronics has the worst customer no-service. Usually they won't even answer the phone and never return calls. Thinking about Maytronics, think again.

My Dolphin DX4 is about 5yrs old... just last week it started to do the following... I turn it on it goes up and down the wall up and down the wall and back up and down the wall in the same spot. I have moved it and it heads for the wall and does the same and at some point will just stop. What should I do?

Have you tried moving the handle to different positions? This again goes back to the fact Maytronics does not supply decent operating instructions with their machines.I would of thought with the high cost of these machines we could get some decent operation instructions. As an up date I am still waiting for communication from Maytronics as to the whereabouts of my machine.
