Dolphin Diagnostic - Only one of the two tracks / treads turns

I recently noticed that only 1 side of my Dolphin Diagnostic tracks / Treads is turning. The side that is turning is on the motor drive unit side. It seems to work & clean well. Is this normal? If not what is the problem?

Only remote control machines drive both sides. Normal machines have an axle and sprocket on one side
