I have never seen a broken shaft. Do you use the robot in a freshly salted pool?

FOUND THE SAME ON UNIT 3 summers and that was that. Shaft broke right at pin hole center. Hope the other motor doesn't fail the same 400$ each. Found all the pieces 2 ,snapped brittle looking. If this is a big problem they should use shear pin 10.cent

The part that holds the pin is missing on my Aquabot. Looks like it broke off right at the point the pin would be inserted, any suggestions?

Pin is fine but drive axle doesn't turn. Fan motor runs fine.
