Drive axle on Aquabot motor

Hey There, Aquabot stopped motoring around the pool on me. I took apart with the help of this GREAT website. It seems the pin on the axle motor drive broke off and does not turn the drive wheel for the belts. What do you think, can i try and tap the pin out and install a new one or do I have to buy a new motor all together?

ADMIN REPLY: Try tapping or pressing. Otherwise, I use a 1/8 inch drill and drill part way then tap, drill then tap until the pin falls out. If the hole is too big for the replacement pin, put a slight bend in the pin AFTER insertion with a pair of channel lock pliers
