Early dolphin Test out of Water

Bought from a friend. Really like it, had for little over a year. Ran it on a Monday, put it back in pool on Thursday.
Ran 3-4feet. Stopped. Maintenance is good, kept clean and bag. Got it out turned upside down, came to this link.
Started unscrewing main power cord, noticed a little water. Drying out. The question is CAN YOU TEST RUN
THE AQUBOT OUT OF THE WATER?
