I have a Maytronics power supply # 9995670 for a Dolphin Nautilus pool cleaner. I started having issues with the power button working intermittently.
I was about to buy a new power supply when I saw some comments on this site, so this is what I did to fix it.
The top layer plastic cover with the power button icon had already come loose. Underneath that is another see-through square-shaped cover with a thinner gray border that has adhesive around the perimeter on the back side.
I used a heat gun to soften and remove it. Once underneath, I saw the issue...the 4 pointed domed power button had broken loose from its 4 solder points on the board. Since I only had one set of hands, in order to hold that 4 pointed piece in place while soldering, I used gorilla tape across the top 2 contact points to hold it in place while I soldered the 2 lower connections. Once those were soldered, I held the button while peeling off the tape so as not to accidentally pull dislodge what I had already soldered. I then soldered the 2 bottom pieces...plugged it in and it works every time! Hope this helps someone!
