How do you repair the plug portion that goes into the power supply?

The unit shorted out and i just need to reconnect the wires. Is it and allen key? I have never seen this type of connection before. Please be specific and detailed in a response as i see most answers in this forum are not at all detailed. Please do this for us idiots out there. Thanks.

Are you referring to the cord from the transformer to the house outlet?

I need to do the same thing, as my power cord that plugs into the outlet then into the power supply needs replaced. I bought a new cord, but it doesn't look the same and I cant get the original cord out of the power supply. I have an older Dolphin, which was given to me, so I have no model number. Will I have to take the power supply apart and wire this? The cord I ordered has a female end, so I thought it would be an easy fix.
