Press it in as best you can. I use a pair of channel locks or a hammer and vise

How to Install new shaft pin
by: Anonymous

I purchased shaft pin from manufacturer and the pin won’t go all the way in. It’s goes to about a 1/4 in with a hammer and that’s it. I don’t see any videos where a shaft pin is hammered in lol.

Maybe loc-tite to hold it in place? I will give a little bend if the bore is worn.

Buying replacement spiral pins
by: Chuck

I'm attempting to replace the spiral pin on my Aquabot Classic for the 2nd time in only 4 years of operation. I just received replacement pins from a site called "aquabot.com". They shipped me two pins in only 2 days. Only $3.60 each but shipping was $8.00. Couldn't find pins at any retailer so I was thrilled to discover this site. It does recommend using "lock-tite". Trying to figure out if they mean "loctite " products and which one to use.
