Sticking on main drains

Our dolphin pool cleaner is continuously getting stuck on the main drains. We have had it 3 yrs and this is the first summer this has happened so frequently. Can u please tell me what may be causing this? Thank You!!

ours does the same thing and it gets annoying you go do something and come back an hour later its still stuck on the drain! pain in the butt! only used mine for 2 years and it started to do it. Seems odd that it needs new brushes in such a short period of time!

The treads and brushes may be worn down so the robot body rides lower to the liner.
