Weekly Timer Question

I may have missed something..,,

Why would you need to program the cleaner if it needs to be removed from pool after each use? Are we supposed to just leave it in pool all the time ?

The program mode is for "unattended time away from the pool"
There may be times when your pool will not be used for days correct?
However, you may want debris vacuumed out, on a regular basis.
(for uncovered/open area pools mostly)

It's a convenience that you may or may not need.

Either way:
"YES",,,, you need to pull the vacuum and it's power lines out of a pool before any person/s get in the pool.
