Yellow Drive Belt Question

It has worked beautifully low these many years. However, this year it only moves in a small relatively square spot..but clean this well. Upon investigation I realized the yellow belt on the electrical side is not moving smoothly while the other side is running smoothly according to the computer program. Looking more closely at the belts I realized the underneath brackets non running belt are worn down / hence smaller that the other side. Should this be?? or do I need a new belt?

ADMIN REPLY: The belts wear out and stretch over time. The drive gear will, on occasion, also shred the belts. If the belts don't look right try replacing them. Aquaqualitypools.com has a decent price on replacement belts for Dolphin robots.
